Christians are people who trust in Jesus the Christ as their savior and are dedicated to following him as their lord. Moreover, Christians identify as being brothers and sisters of Jesus, adopted into the family of God.

Here are some things that are true of Christians. I’ll explain them with more detail in later posts.

• We daily practice repentance and faith.
• We are renewed in life and mind.
• We are made right with God.
• We are ambassadors for Jesus.
• We are co-heirs with Jesus.
• We receive the gift of the Spirit.
• We are never alone and can always look to God for help.
• We are given a new purpose and work toward the fulfillment of our original purpose.
• We receive everlasting life.
• We submit ourselves to God’s will.
