About

My name is Elijah and I’m a Christian. I love asking hard questions about Christianity and analyzing objections and barriers to belief. Sometimes, however, I am dissatisfied with many publicly available answers made by pastors, apologists, speakers, and writers. When a non-Christian or skeptic asks a question or raises an objection, we Christians should respond with both truth and love, so as to win the person, neither leaving them with vain philosophy nor thumping the Bible over their head.

Doubtless, there are innumerable books, videos, and articles that provide good answers to nearly every question imaginable, but such resources are scattered and obscured for the average person. Whether you, my reader, are a Christian with unbelieving friends or are an unbeliever yourself, I hope to provide satisfying answers that might bring people one step closer to meeting Jesus and acknowledging God.

In my experience, many people reject Christianity or at least are uncomfortable with it due to unanswered objections. I think that skepticism is a good starting point for many topics, but it’s intellectually lazy to never examine your doubts. If you never challenge your beliefs or take them seriously, then you should not allow them to influence your life.1My statement refers only to significant worldview beliefs, not all beliefs in general. I don’t think we need to seriously analyze basic, experiential beliefs such as the belief that putting a hand in boiling water will hurt. This applies to both religious and irreligious people. My intention with this website is to encourage you to think critically and not let doubts live rent-free in your mind.

Thanks for reading! I hope you benefit from this site.
